Sen. John Proos announced today that he will hold a tele-town hall meeting this evening to discuss the recently completed state budget and listen to residents’ priorities, thoughts and concerns. This will be the latest in a series of tele-town halls Proos has held throughout his time in the state legislature.
“Being an effective public servant begins with engaging the people about the many important issues facing our state and our families,” said Proos, R-St. Joseph. “The tele-town hall enables residents to discuss our successes and challenges without having to leave the comfort of home. I look forward to talking with residents tonight as part of my continued efforts to serve the hard-working people of Southwest Michigan to the best of my ability.”
Proos’ tele-town hall meeting will take place tonight, June 17, 2013 at 7:05 p.m. Residents wishing to participate may join the meeting by calling 877-228-2184 and entering ID Code: 19012, or submit questions via Twitter by using #SWMITownhall.
Residents unable to participate in the tele-town hall may contact Proos’ office at any time by calling 1-517-373-6960 or by email at SenJProos@senate.michigan.gov.
